Jesus & Salvation

You are created in the image of the Living God - a Spirit with a Soul residing in a physical body. Your spirit and soul are indestructible. Choices concerning life, death, love and other areas of importance are able to be made during your stay on earth.

Through sin, Adam, (the first man) turned himself and all authority in the earth over to the devil, but God loved the world so much that Jesus immediately became the substitute for your certain eternal death. Even though Jesus had not entered the earth physically, God’s love plan had, nevertheless, been set into motion. Salvation would come by spiritual baptism between your spirit and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. In love, God the Father offers you Salvation and life eternal through the death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus. This Salvation is a gift from God and can never be just a ritual. You can never do any works, or persuade God in any way, to gain eternal life and a place in heaven. By the grace of God you are saved and that through the faith of God given to you.

The decision to receive Jesus as your Saviour is to be made by you alone. There may be the presence of other believers at the time when you speak to God, but they should be with you as encouragement and guidance only. Simply and sincerely trust Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour, and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead.

An Invitation

God created you to be eternally loved by Him and for you to love Him in return but your will is extremely powerful. Not I or anyone else, or any power on earth, or in the universe can force you to do what you do not want to do. Not even God can force you, and most of all God because unconditionally, He gave you a free will to make vital life decisions with. God will guide you and move mountains on your behalf but He will never force Himself on your will. Ultimately you must decide for yourself.

So now, here is an invitation to come before God sincerely. If you choose to do so, speak the following prayer, (words to God) with humility and belief that God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to save you from the curse of sin and death.

Dear God, I come to you as I am, and in need of You. I know I have continually sinned against You and I now repent of that way. I believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins and then rose again from the dead: spirit, soul and body. Thank you for saving me Jesus: I ask You to be my life; to be my Saviour and Lord, from this moment on and for eternity.
